About Dan

The vast majority of my athletic career was spent at the ice rink playing hockey. The golf course has always been a place of solace and respite for me. I grew up playing at the Sherwood Forest course in Annapolis Maryland and later as a junior member at Madison Country Club in Madison Connecticut. The bulk of my junior golf was played with my father and I can remember the first time I got the ball airborne. Not much has changed since then and dedicating my life to getting the ball airborne and putting it in to the hole makes sense to me. It's more than the game itself, it's the flora and fauna, the people, the comradery, the gear, and the experiences this game provides.

Getting in to professional golf later in life has been a blessing. Like many people I work with I had a job that got in the way of my ability to practice and play the game we all love. During the pandemic I was fortunate enough to have time to get back in to the game which brought me to where I am today. During the off season here in Maine I enjoy snowboarding in addition to hitting balls in the Trackman swing studio we have here at Bridgton Highlands Country Club.

I look at my students as individuals and love hearing about their golf goals and aspirations. Whether you're new to the game, simply want to learn to swing the club, or shave a few strokes off your handicap I'm happy to help identify your strengths, weaknesses, and help you have more fun out on the course!
